1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Lamlayer ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Lamlayer mobile application or website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our services immediately.

2. Description of Service

Lamlayer is a mobile graphic design and poster studio application. The service offers:

• A curated marketplace of customizable design templates (including birthday designs, wedding invites, couples keepsakes, travel journals, baby milestone posters, and aesthetic layouts).
• A built-in mobile layer editor for manipulating text, colors, shapes, and user photos locally on the device.
• In-app AI image generation (DALL-E 3) and image editing (GPT-4o) powered by an in-app consumable token credit system.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To maintain token balances and restore purchases, users authenticate via email one-time password (OTP) or Google Sign-In. You agree that:

• You provide accurate and current contact information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and authentication credentials.
• You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country).

4. Free Template Marketplace License

All catalog templates provided in Lamlayer are made available to users free of charge. We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to:

• Download, open, and customize catalog templates in the Lamlayer app.
• Incorporate your personal photographs, typography, and visual assets.
• Export, print, display, publish, and distribute finished artwork for both personal and commercial purposes (e.g., event invitations, physical wall prints, social media promotion, merchandise, and client projects).

Restrictions: You may not extract, scrape, or repackage raw template files (the proprietary .lamlayer structure) for redistribution, resale, or sublicensing as a competing standalone template library or marketplace.

5. User Ownership of Content

You retain full, exclusive 100% intellectual property ownership over all photographs you import into Lamlayer and all customized designs you export.

Because our system operates on a local-first basis, your photos and design files remain stored on your physical mobile device. Lamlayer does not claim any copyright, trademark, or ownership rights in your user content.

6. In-App Token System & Purchases

While all template designs and canvas tools are completely free, advanced AI image tools require in-app consumable tokens:

• Consumable Token Packs: Users may purchase pre-set packs directly within the app:
  • Starter Pack: 10 Tokens — ₹130 INR (Product ID: com.lamlayer.tokens.10)
  • Pro Pack: 50 Tokens — ₹650 INR (Product ID: com.lamlayer.tokens.50)
  • Master Pack: 100 Tokens — ₹1,300 INR (Product ID: com.lamlayer.tokens.100)
• Billing: Transactions are securely processed through Google Play In-App Billing (Android) or Apple App Store In-App Purchases (iOS). Store terms and taxes apply.
• Deduction Rate: Exactly 1 token is deducted per successful AI generation (DALL-E 3) or AI image edit (GPT-4o).
• Automatic Refund Guarantee: If an AI generation request fails due to server error, network timeout, or content moderation filter, our backend automatically refunds the 1 token back to your balance immediately.
• Nature of Tokens: Tokens constitute virtual credits. They are non-transferable, possess no real-world monetary value, and cannot be redeemed for legal currency or transferred between different account emails.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

When using Lamlayer's canvas editor and AI tools, you agree not to:

• Submit prompts or upload images that are illegal, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, violent, or sexually explicit.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, or privacy rights of any third party.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of the Lamlayer mobile application.
• Attempt to manipulate, circumvent, or exploit the in-app token billing or refund systems.

8. Service Availability & Storage Disclaimer

We strive to provide continuous, high-availability services. However, you acknowledge that:

• Online features (AI generation and catalog downloads) require an active internet connection and may occasionally experience maintenance downtime.
• Local Data Responsibility: Your finished posters and design files are saved to your device's local memory. You are solely responsible for exporting your completed designs to your device photo library or backup solutions. Lamlayer cannot recover files lost due to physical device damage, app uninstallation, or operating system resets.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE LAMLAYER APPLICATION AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM AI GENERATION WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR SATISFY ALL SUBJECTIVE EXPECTATIONS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LAMLAYER AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR IN-APP TOKENS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute or claim arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
